SUNDAY FEB 1 | Rally for Democracy in COSTA MESA at Harbor & Wilson
What to know about this coming weekend, plus tons of new NATIONAL SHUTDOWN events
Sunday 2/1: Rally for Democracy in Costa Mesa (Harbor & Wilson)
This Sunday February 1st from 2-4pm, join OC Indivisible Coalition & 50501 Orange County in Costa Mesa at the corner of Harbor & Wilson for our twice-monthly Rally for Democracy!
We’re excited to try this new-to-us location in Costa Mesa and are looking forward to welcoming in new protesters from the area.
PARKING & FOOD DRIVE INFORMATION (UPDATED 1/31 at 5PM)
Do NOT park at Costa Mesa Harbor Center! Property management has threatened to tow protester vehicles.
If you can, take a Lyft, ride your bike, or use public transportation (Costa Mesa residents can use the Ride Circuit app).
If you must drive, park at the old “At Home” lot at 2200 Harbor Blvd. In order to park, patronize an adjoining business upon arrival and ensure that you get a receipt. We suggest a pastry or juice!
There is extremely limited street parking in adjoining neighborhoods.
Be prepared to leave early if necessary.
We still plan to exercise our constitutional right to free speech at the intersection of Harbor Blvd and Wilson St. See you there!

Reminder: About the Sunday Weekly Rally for Democracy & Community Events
We hold weekly actions on Sundays from 2-4pm at varying locations throughout Orange County. The schedule is as follows:
Protest rallies every 1st and 3rd Sunday
Community-building activities every 2nd and 4th Sunday
For months with 5 Sundays (Mar, May, Aug, Nov) we will play it by ear – RSVP to the Mobilize event or subscribe to our Substack newsletter to stay updated.
We usually have anywhere from 350-600+ people in attendance. These events attract people primarily from California congressional districts 40, 46 and 47, but may also bring in people from other parts of Orange County, and beyond.
