What to know October 3rd through 5th
Dear neighbors,
October 18th is coming up fast. We’re again co-hosting the next No Kings Orange County rally at Centennial Park in Santa Ana with our partners OC Indivisible Coalition and WAVE, and you are not going to want to miss this historic moment.
Here are the details we have available so far:
Saturday, October 18th, 2-5pm, Centennial Park (3000 W Edinger Ave, Santa Ana)
Yes! We will be hosting a food and essentials drive to support our neighbors in need across Orange County, including those who have been affected by immigration raids. Bring unexpired perishables and anything you think a household may need for daily life! (Click here for a list of suggested items.)
Tons of community organizations will be there with action items for you to join them in helping build the world we want to live in
DJs and musicians will be keeping the energy high, in addition to inspiring speeches and calls to action from organizers and community leaders
Saturday 10/4: Free Self-Defense Class with Greg!
This and every Saturday morning, join our dear friend Greg at the free self-defense class he hosts each week next to Soccer Field A in Bill Barber Park (that’s the park right next to Irvine City Hall!)
Sunday: “Tech Companies and the U.S. Surveillance State” at the Weekly Rally for Democracy
This Sunday October 5th, join OC Indivisible Coalition & 50501 Orange County at Irvine City Hall from 2-4pm for our weekly Rally for Democracy! The rally topic is “Free Speech is Freedom”.
